Therapy

Our Speech and Language Therapist works at Oakfield as least once a month and undertakes a full and comprehensive screening of all new children and regularly monitors all communication programmes and children’s progress where applicable.

Oakfield House School is able to access input from our large health and therapy team. The team are based at one of our sister schools and available to support our work with our pupils. Within the team we have available a Consultant Educational Psychologist, and Occupational Therapist, Nurse Specialist and Movement Therapist. These are available to children that need these services to help remove their barriers to their learning and progress.

The above specialist health and therapy team work collaboratively with the staff at Oakfield House School to provide a seamless promotion of our pupils’ health and well-being.
